J.C. Bailey III (J) first attended the Pipeline Road Church of Christ, later the Legacy Church of Christ, in 1970.  Upon graduation from Abilene Christian University and Baylor University School of Law, he returned with his wife and newborn daughter in 1988.  The Bailey's have been members at Legacy ever since.  J. served as the Youth Minister for the South Waco Church of Christ and as interim Preaching Minister for several congregations including Legacy from 2005-2007.  J. has been Legacy's "permanent" Preaching Minister since 2011.  He is married to Laurie and they have two beautiful daughters, Jordan and Caitlin, and a son by marriage, Sam.  J. continues to practice law along with his ministry to the Legacy Family.

Jason came to Legacy as our youth minister in the fall of 2003.  He grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from Southwest Christian School.  He received a Bachelor Degree in Psychology with a minor in both Bible and Business and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Abilene Christian University.  Jason also has a certification in Mediation.  He and his wife Cori live in NRH with their three beautiful daughters Rylee, Raegan and Rielle and their dog Sadie. They both share a passion for working with teens and families.

Quincy has been a part of the Legacy family since 1997, when the church was at Pipeline Road.  With his giftedness and passion for prayer, our elders invited him on to the paid staff as Minister of Prayer and Encouragement in February, 2013.  A native of Liberia, Quincy emigrated here 34 years ago, and is a proud citizen of the United States.

Quincy has a deep knowledge of the Bible and a deep love for prayer.  He arrives every day at 7:00 am for our Morning Prayers, and makes visits to the hospitals and nursing homes.

Jennifer joined the Legacy Family in the Fall of 2009 as the Children’s Minister. She served as a Preschool Director and Children’s Minister in Southwest Fort Worth for the last 10 years before coming to Legacy. She has a passion for working with children and seeing them come to know Christ. Jennifer is married to Brian, an Engineer at Lockheed Martin. They have 3 awesome kids; Eric, Coleton and Emma.

Terry Heidecker came to the former Pipeline Church of Christ as Minister to the Deaf in 1981. He moved to Legacy Church of Christ with the rest of the Pipeline congregation in September, 2001. Terry and his wife, Cindy, are both deaf. There are currently sixty members of our Legacy family who are deaf. His ministry work has been recognized and appreciated both locally and nationally.

Terry and Cindy live in Hurst, TX and have two adult daughters and three grandchildren. Terry speaks at the weekly church service for the deaf, leads the Life Group Class for the deaf on Sunday afternoons, and ministers in other ways throughout the week to our deaf members.

Bob Mullen, Ed.D, came to Legacy as Minister of Church Life in September 2012.  He grew up on Long Island and graduated from Half Hollow Hills High School in Dix Hills, NY.  Bob received an Associate Degree in Music from Manatee Junior College, a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from Florida International University, a Master's Degree in Music from the University of North Texas, and a Master's Degree in Counselor Education and a Doctorate in Adult Education from the University of Arkansas.  Dr. Mullen has been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas since 1999 and has authored four books in the field of mental health.  He writes for "Power for Today" a devotional guide.  He previously worked at churches of Christ in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Westworth Village, TX, as well as serving as Staff Chaplain for ten years at Washington Regional Medical System, Fayetteville, AR.  He also served 12 years on the Castleberry ISD School Board (2001-2013).

Dr. Mullen and his wife Terri live in River Oaks, TX and have four grown daughters.  He serves Legacy by strengthening families, developing the body of Christ, being a key resource to the church shepherds, and coordinating the ministerial and office staff.
